| Personal Note: |
Dr. Emry grew up in Coeur d’Alene where he attended
grade school and junior high. He graduated as Valedictorian from Gonzaga
Preparatory High School in 1989. He received his Bachelors Cum Laude in History
of Science and History of Medicine from Yale University. He earned his medical
degree from Dartmouth Medical School and was elected to the AOA Honor Society.
He served as Chief Resident at Family Medicine Residency in Fort Collins,
Colorado, from 2001-2002.
He recently joined Ironwood Family Practice in August 2007. Prior to this, he
was the Medical Director at Benewah Medical Center. Dr. Emry considers himself
very fortunate to be able to return to Coeur d’Alene to do what he truly
loves--practicing Family Medicine. Dr. Emry is married and has two young sons.
Together they enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and water sports. Dr. Emry
also enjoys participating and volunteering in area triathlons. |
